Hendrickson is an OEM and aftermarket supplier of proprietary suspension systems to the heavy transportation industry. We have excellent opportunity for a 2nd shift CNC Technician in our Kendallville, Indiana facility. Hendrickson is located grow our operations just North of Fort Wayne, IN.
Area of Accountability
Lead a shift in CNC tooling program and resolution of tooling issues. Support production continuous improvement efforts including utilizing data to make future focused decisions. Position will be responsible for leading cost improvement projects and completing performance studies to optimize tooling utilization.
Major Responsibilities
Support CNC operations in resolution of issues on any shift as needed
Manage CNC tooling – prepare back-up tooling – troubleshoot tooling issues
Assist in developing and execute tooling cost reduction action plans
Manage tooling inventory and gather usage data
Execute tool performance studies to optimize costs
Qualifications
High School Diploma required
Associate’s degree preferred
Minimum of two years machining experience preferred
Understanding of milling & drilling perishable tooling
Understanding of GD&T practices and blueprint reading
Basic understanding of Excel and spreadsheet usage
