ABOUT THE ROLE

Coat check staff are responsible for providing excellent customer service, cash handling, safe keeping of guest items, and ensuring coat check operations run smoothly.

• Provide coat/bag check needs through excellent customer service
• Setup and stock coat check area with hangers, tickets, registers, racks, and any other necessary tools for the smooth running of coat check service
• Organize items with care, providing customers with appropriate ticket
• Handle cash appropriately
• Retrieve claims in timely fashion
• Ensure the work area is clean at all times
• Track items left behind, properly labeling and returning them to management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Related experience in a customer service setting
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Highly organized, efficient, and detail oriented
• Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced, high-stress environments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 40 pounds
• Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time
• Must be willing to work long shifts, including overnight shifts
• Must be able to work in fast-paced environment
