UPS hiring for and Automotive Technician to be part of our Earth City team. As an Automotive Technician, your road ahead includes working on a state-of-the-art fleet that includes propane vehicles for rural routes, ethanol vehicles for city center trips, electricity-assisted tricycles such as Cargo Cruisers and more.
- The job will be nights from 7:00 PM to 03:30 AM Monday thru Friday
- Wages start at $36.61 an hour with a one year progression rate up to top scale at $42.14 an hour.
- Benefits start after 30 days of employment with no paid holidays until after one year of service.
- You must have 3 the 5 years of experience with tech school background.
- Class A CDL is a Plus.
- And having your own hand tools is a requirement!
Fleet diesel and gas experience or trade school training are highly desirable. Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills are encouraged. Must be at least 21 years old, proficient operating standard transmission vehicles and meet DOT driving requirements. Technicians should have a complete set of hand tools, UPS will provide larger shop tools.
