Seeking teachers living near or on (orcan drivewithout issue) to the Santa Monica / West side of LA.

We can only consider those who are either a US citizen or green card holder.

Seeking teachers with teaching experience for a kids comedy improv, and/or speech, and debate classes.

Currenly, we may have a potential Comedy Improv class for grades 1-5 starting later April (pending enrollment) which meets once a week on a Friday, 3-4P. If available that day, hour and, have experiencing teaching kids comedy improv theater please let us know (include details on your experience- what you have taught etc.)

About Us: We are a premier, youth and teen performing arts program, operating since 1987, featured on HBO, Showtime, etc.

In-Person only (no remote teaching avail at this time)

Hours: Part-time position, hours will vary. Availability and flexibility in your schedule are important.

Pay: Competitive, ranges by role, camp, and classes (virtual or in-person).

• Administration (Sales, Social Media, Flyer Designs, General Admin help)Locations: In and around the West side of Los Angeles.

IMPORTANT!

LOCATION INFO: Most all programs are predominantly in Santa Monica and the West Side of LA (a few in the greater Los Angeles region such as; Pacific Palisades, Culver City, Marina Del Rey, Venice, Valley areas, Manhattan Beach, etc.).

If a commute is going to post any sort of problem, please DO NOT APPLY (for example, you may be hired for a 45 min class in Santa Monica but live more than an hour away- we understand this may be a problem for you - but need to know in advance).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Teaching experience with kids theater for a minimum of one year
• Able to commit for a minimum of a year
• Have flexible hours
• Able to commit to a schedule (dates and hours) and make yourself available for that
• Have a reliable vehicle (see 'Location Info" above)
• LOVE working with kids of all ages
• Excellent at class management and organization
• Reliable and prompt
• Excellent at communication and
• Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and staff
• Engaging, creative, fun, and energetic attitude
• Have a good working car and ideally live close to the West side of LA.
• Required: Live-scan fingerprinting and TB test (plus other onboarding documents)
