SUMMARY: Analyze the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for consumer, commercial and real estate credit and prepare credit packages for approval.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports lenders through financial/credit analysis in support for new loans, renewals and loan reviews.
• Researches and analyzes pertinent financial information for existing and potential commercial and consumer clients.
• Evaluates borrower creditworthiness by analyzing personal and corporate documents including balance sheets, income statements, tax returns, K1 schedules, etc.
• Prepares and presents to Loan Officer written credit package for credit approval, ensuring that all credit policy guidelines are adhered to and deviations are properly noted with valid and supporting mitigants.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or comparable credit underwriting experience. Strong verbal and written communications skills. PC proficient in MS Word and Excel.
