We are a growing independent insurance agency seeking a highly energetic and skilled full time Commercial Lines Account Manager for our Middle-Market Commercial Department. The ideal candidate would be detail oriented, a self-starter and have excellent client service skills. Responsibilities Include:

• Retention of Client Accounts
• New and Renewal Marketing
• Provide technical expertise (knowledge of insurance coverage and products) by analyzing client needs, coverage forms and quotations during the sales and service process on new and renewal business
• Create positive synergy between departments with pursuing cross-selling opportunities (Property/Casualty, Employee Benefits, Personal Risk Services)
• Adhere to Commercial Lines Workflows - including written confirmation of new and renewal binding, evidence of coverage, changes to coverage and other related items
• Prepare proposals and summaries of insurance, as needed with the agency management system or insurance carrier's rating systems
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management system
• Respond to clients' and underwriters' questions in a timely and professional manner
• Other projects or duties, as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Required education: High School Graduate. College degree preferred, but not required
• Required license or certification: Property and Casualty License
• Job Type: Full-time
• Experience: Minimum of 1-year Insurance Experience Required
• Must have great customer service skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in an organized
• Must be comfortable with internet-based programs as well as intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office products.
• Knowledge of Applied Epic a plus, but not required.
