CMC Properties is looking for a motivated and energetic Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team based at our Carmel, IN office building.

Our product limits the stresses and headaches that come with maintaining the mechanics and hassles of someone’s home, but utilizes your skills and experience to help companies grow!

Responsibilities:

Keeping our buildings onsite and grounds in clean and orderly condition. Cleaning and changing A/C filters. Prepping office suites for paint, painting suites, and getting ready for move in, maintaining and repairing lite plumbing issues in restrooms, and common areas, changing light bulbs and ballast, light electrical work in suites and in buildings. Will require construction skills such as drywall repair, hanging dry wall, skim coating, sanding, and carpentry work; such as framing, baseboards, chair-rail, and crown moldings. Must be physically fit to handle carrying these items up and down stairs at times, shoveling snow when needed and other physical duties.

Completes all work orders in a timely manner and communicates with the Commercial Property Manager & Regional Manager should any delays occur. Provides exceptional customer service, at all times, to our commercial tenants, vendors, contractors and building guests.

Schedule Requirements: Looking for part-time or Full Time Tech.

Schedule: M-F (half hour lunch, hours are somewhat flexible) Off Weekends and Holidays, on-call and overtime possible.

Qualifications

Previous commercial property maintenance experience strongly preferred, residential property maintenance a plus.

Drywall: repair, hanging, sanding

Carpentry: framing

Painting

Plumbing

Electrical

HVAC a plus

Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record

Must have good communication skills and be responsive to telephone communications (texting and answering your mobile phone) Company phone may be provided

Must be a "people person", able to take direction from others.

Pay- $18.00 - $25.00/hour based on experience

Job Type: Part-time to Full-time based on experience and qualifications
