Job description
The Plumbing Quotations Specialist works in tandem with our sales teams to increase sales and provide value to our contractor customer base, by providing accurate and timely commercial plumbing material quotations.
This is a specific location, office-based position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Produce material quotes, utilizing the company ERP, from construction plans and specifications to contractor clients, with the objective to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Processes and resolves client and project requirements and concerns from initial quote to project completion with accuracy and urgency.
- Constantly meets production deadlines, collaborates, and contributes to a team-based, time-based workflow.
- Utilizes previous knowledge, or capacity to learn, the application and design of Plumbing and HVAC materials to meet project requirements and to offer best fit and profitable product solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Adhere to the rules and regulations as set forth in the Employee Handbook
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in a similar position preferred.
- Proficient with computer systems and applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, with ability to learn company ERP.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully, in written form and verbally required.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications preferred.
- Position relies on strong mechanical aptitude and logical problem solving.

Work Environment
- Office atmosphere. Light to moderate noise (white noise, phones, printers, etc.)
- Warehouse atmosphere. Employee may be exposed to moving machinery, vibration, fumes, and airborne particles. The noise level is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
