Fallon & Byrne have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Commis Chef / Junior Chef de Partie for The Dining Room, our 120-seater French-style bistro at Fallon & Byrne on Exchequer Street in Dublin city centre.
Our chefs are passionate about exceeding our guests' expectations and the successful candidate will be focused on producing high quality dishes using the best ingredients and passionate about delivering a superior experience for our guests. The Commis Chef / Junior Chef de Partie is key to delivering for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the food preparation process.
- Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes.
- Assisting other chefs.
- Helping with deliveries and restocking.
- Assisting with stock rotation.
- Cleaning stations.
- Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
The Person
- Previous kitchen experience and preferably a culinary degree.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, professional and approachable.
- A passion for food and excellent knowledge.
- Ability to communicate well with and work harmoniously with other staff and management team.
- Flexibility regarding working hours, particularly around weekends and stock delivery days.
