Commissioning & Completions Coordinator

Work with a leading EPC specializing in Oil, Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Chemical Industries. We are seeking a Commissioning Coordinator to initially start in Houston and transition to site in June/July.

We are seeking a Pre-commissioning and Commissioning, Start-up and Operations (PC&CSO) Completions Coordinator for a multi-billion USD dollar LNG Project. The LNG Project comprises of a 700MW Combine Cycle Power Plant, Pretreatment Units, Utility Packages, Storage Tanks and Jetty facilities with more than over +120K tag items which will be entered and tracked in the completions database (Co-Console). Be part of a multi-discipline work preparation team and be responsible for the development of Completions Plans, Procedures, Commissioning Turnover Packs, schedule requirements, quality, safety, health and environmental requirements. This position transfers from Home Office to job site south of New Orleans, LA and reports to the Senior Completions Manager.

Job Responsibilities

  • The Completion Coordinator is responsible for collecting and inputting data from the Engineering Disciplines into Co-Console Databases.
  • Will compile and input engineering data by System, Subsystem and Sub-Subsystem, itemize basic functions, equipment checks, etc.
  • Define Inspection test sheets (ITRs) and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to be used for Construction Completion, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Substantial Completion of the LNG Facility.
  • Centralize and maintain records of the Project Temporary and Final Documentation for Turnover within Company and Final Handover to Owner.
  • Ensure that all FAT carry-over punch-lists are consolidated. In general, ensure the coherence and consistency of Punch-Lists.
  • Ensure accuracy of progress information provided to Commissioning Manager and Issue periodic progress reports for Management follow-up.
  • Develop procedures involving Co-Console and Handover of the Facility
  • Will Manage the administration of the Project Punchlist in close coordination with the Construction team
  • Once the Commissioning Team mobilizes to site, his/her responsibilities will include the tracking of all Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start-Up and Operation activities and the generation of all Turnover Dossiers from Ready for Commissioning to Turnover of the various Completion Packages.
  • Ensure that Co-Console Database is well prepared and validated for Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning & Start-up.
  • Will audit Turnover Dossiers to ensure their completeness during the various stages of transition in close coordination with the Technical Services Manager, Quality Manager and the Senior Completions Manager.
  • Resolves job site technical issues encountered during execution of the project.
  • Review, and comment on procedures for commissioning organization and management, incl. technical aspects.
  • Understanding of FERC requirements for an LNG Facility

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of combined experience with Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Preservation. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or any related field, equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with Completions
  • 5 +years’ experience using a completions system (s) preferably Co-Console
  • Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications specifically: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and Word
  • Possesses supervisory responsibilities and able to work independently
  • Possess a TWIC card
  • Able to read and understand Contracts

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
