As the Corporate Communications Project Manager, you will be a vital member of our team, supporting media relations, social media, corporate communications, and sustainability initiatives. Acting as a force multiplier, you will coordinate teams to ensure the quality and accuracy of projects. You will work closely with the cross-functional communications functions to support the development of various communication materials such as press releases, talking points, social media posts, and presentations. Collaborating with teams across the company, you will identify and execute opportunities for joint communication efforts, ensuring consistent corporate communications messaging and branding.

You will monitor traditional and social media mentions, collect imagery and videos for content creation, share Sunnova media mentions, and track industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities to improve our communication strategies and tactics. By helping to measure and report on the effectiveness of our communication strategies and tactics, we will continuously improve our approach. Your role as a Corporate Communications Project Manager will also include support for calendaring and other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Project manage effective communication strategies and tactics for media relations, social media, corporate communications, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of communication projects, managing schedules, and week-to-week activities to ensure that teams are aligned effectively.
  • Support the development of communication materials such as press releases, talking points, social media posts, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate across the company to identify and execute opportunities for joint communications efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and branding.
  • Monitor traditional and social media mentions, collect imagery and videos for content creation, share Sunnova media mentions, and track industry trends and best practices.
  • Analyze communication metrics and provide regular reporting to stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and tactics.
  • Develop and manage project plans, tracking progress, and communicating status updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all communication materials meet the organization's standards and guidelines for quality and accuracy.
  • Manage communication-related budgets, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.
  • Support calendaring and other ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Sustainability, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in corporate communications, sustainability, project management or related field.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Passion for corporate communications and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
