Community Outreach Specialist

Location: Hybrid – extensive driving throughout San Antonio and New Braunfels required.

Status: Full-Time

Join us at Little Spurs! (Overview): Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care is looking to add a Community Outreach Specialist to our growing team. We are searching for a customer-service oriented individual who enjoys meeting new people and finding new ways to connect with the community. In this position, you will connect with primary care providers, healthcare professionals, and community members to help spread the words about Little Spurs.

What You Need (Qualifications):

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to communication, written and verbally,
• Spanish and English required
• One to three years of related experience in business, sales, customer service, or related field preferred
• Must pass criminal background check
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role.

• Pay/ Hourly: $19.00-$21.00 depending on experience

The Nitty Gritty (Day To Day):

• Cover a designated territory and maintain long-term partnerships with referral groups and community partners.
• Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails, and partner visits.
• Attend and promote Little Spurs at various community events.
• Inform partners of changes in services, providers/staff, etc and serve as the main point of contact (in addition to the Clinic Manager).
• Extensive driving throughout the assigned market and having a method of transportation is required (mileage reimbursement will be provided)

When We Operate (Schedule):

• This position offers flexible hours but does require some work on the weekends and evenings
