Join us, for flexible schedules! Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance would like to hire a compassionate and skilled Caregiver or Home Care Aide. You will make a difference in someone’s life by helping him/her stay in the comfort of their home, and bring to them the companionship they desire and the care they need to remain safe at home.

Starting wage: $18.00 - $22.00 an hour

Responsibilities and duties:

• Assisting with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their homes.
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning the bathroom.
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments
• Personal care

Qualifications:

• High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
• Possess a driver’s license and a reliable car
• The caregivers must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
• Read, write, speak, and understand English with or without reasonable accommodations as needed for the job
• Has an interest in working with elders
• Flexible, sensitive to the needs of others, reliable, and able to cope with emergencies
• Honest likable, energetic, and approachable type
