You will join a People and Places organization in this unique Compensation role that will be integral to our success. This is a role designed to support specific initiatives across multiple divisions focused on critical business objectives and Compensation strategies.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Compensation Analyst who will be an integral part of initiatives that support our compensation philosophy transformation. Someone who is adaptable and has strong analytical, consultative and advisory skills.

This role will report into the Director, Compensation in our Total Rewards organization. This role can be based in the U.S., remote.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to ensure company's competitive position
  • Apply sound compensation theory in the development of competitive salary structures based on relevant local salary surveys, competitive environment, economic trends, and local HR input to aid in recruiting and retention
  • Provide coaching to Managers and HR staff on compensation matters
  • Recommend corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related issues
  • Counsel on the interpretation of various compensation programs on case-by-case basis
  • Provide compensation related tools and training to HR Business Partners and Managers with the ultimate goal of self-sufficiency in leveling and pay decisions
  • Work independently or as part of a cross-functional team to prepare analyses and recommendations
  • Manage or participate in various operational compensation functions, like job code setup and compensation tool configuration
  • Support business-aligned Compensation partners with analytics and insight, providing direct consultation to their clients where appropriate
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of compensation analytics experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong project management and follow through
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $84,100 and $144,980. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
