What We’re Looking For
Trillium Health Resources is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to join our Compliance Team. Trillium’s Compliance Team confirms that departments within Trillium, vendors and contracted providers follow state and federal contracts, guidelines, and regulations. They initiate monitoring and investigations to ensure adherence to all of Trillium’s policies and procedures and contractual obligations. The Compliance Coordinator supports the teams overall goals by assisting in the monitoring and auditing of internal Trillium departments, contracted network provider agencies and vendors to ensure compliance with rules, regulations, contractual requirements and service definition requirements.
On a typical day, you might:
- Conduct quality audits in an objective, systematic, unbiased manner.
- Ensure quality health care determinations are being made based on contract/policies and procedures/NCQA standards, as well as federal and state laws/mandates.
- Make decisions to respond to identified out of compliance issues through facilitating technical assistance, issuing, reviewing and approving Plans of Correction and/or issuing appropriate sanctions.
- Develop interventions aimed at providing technical assistance, training, and support to help reduce and/or eliminate patterns and trends of non-compliance.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in human services field preferred.
Experience: Two (2) years’ experience with mental health, substance abuse, developmental disabilities and/or co-occurring disorders populations or equivalent of higher education or higher education/experience. Experience in any of the following areas would be valuable for this employee: Public speaking, mediation and/or problem resolution, group facilitation, advocacy, regulations compliance and project management.
License/Certification: None required; CHC, AFHI, CFE, LCMHC, LMFT, LCWS, LCAS, RN preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must reside in NC and be able to travel within state for assigned on site monitoring’s. Must reside in NC to be considered for remote status
