The ReEntry Program is a 15-week fellowship program, beginning March 20, 2023 and ending June 30, 2023, with the prospect of an offer for permanent employment with JP Morgan Chase at the end of the program. The program offers a reintroduction to corporate life for those returning to the workplace after an extended career break for two or more years. The fellowship placements will be based on both business needs and candidate skill set and interest areas within our Corporate Investment Banking, Asset Wealth Management & Commercial Banking Operations business.

Morgan's EMEA compliance department.

Job Summary

The position is in the Irish Compliance Department and provides the opportunity to join a critical growth area in regional Compliance management. The position will be located in Dublin.

In this position you will play a leading role in the design and implementation of initiatives to support our compliance programme in order to move the Compliance agenda forward. You will act as an advisor and drive activities to meet strategic organizational goals. The team works in close partnerships with global partners and EMEA stakeholders in Compliance, as well as key corporate functions to help direct, oversee and align activities towards departmental objectives. The role presents an excellent opportunity to interact with senior stakeholders and gain a detailed insight into the management of a regional Compliance function for a global and complex corporate and investment bank

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver assigned elements of JP Morgan's compliance programme to implement our global and regional and local programme locally including procedural elements
• Develop solutions to facilitate local implementation of the firm-wide compliance programme in tandem with local jurisdictional requirements
• Take ownership for specific initiatives and work streams that impact the department and our business lines and be responsible for driving projects and programmes to successful completion
• Working to ensure the Global and Ireland's compliance programme is communicated to key stakeholders
• Collaborate and interact with other control functions, operational and business units and escalate issues as appropriate and required
• Support the Compliance Plans and Monitoring Programmes for each of the local regulated JPM legal entities
• Provide timely advice and assistance to our businesses on regulatory issues, compliance matters and applicable policies and procedures

Skills and Experience

• Previous Risk, Compliance or Audit experience is desirable
• The individual will need to be proactive and action orientated with strong analytical skills and a proven ability for problem solving
• Be a self starter with the ability to work independently
• Demonstrated collaborative style and ability to partner with people
