Main Responsibilities:

The firm is a UCITS Management Company and is the Manager of 3 UCITS Umbrella Funds in Luxembourg and in Ireland, with AUM of approx. 25 bn euro.

We are looking to recruit a trainee student/recently graduated Compliance Trainee, reporting to the Company Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and DP for Regulatory and Compliance, to support the continuous growth of the Company.

We are offering a 9 months full time paid contract, with the opportunity to be extended or to be confirmed in a permanent role at the end of the term.

The role:

Oversight of the compliance by the investment managers of the funds’ UCITS and prospectus limits, liaising with the Depositary, the Investment Managers and the compliance systems provider on any issues;
Investigation of breaches, dealing with the Investment Managers, the Administrators and the Depositary Banks, in relation to the application of policies and in verifying the appropriate execution of the target operating model;
Maintaining the pre- and post-trade constraint management system, in line with the relevant regulatory limits, dealing with the delegate in an effective manner;
Reviewing fund pre- and post-contractual client material from a compliance perspective, eg KIIDs, prospectus, fund fact sheets, fund marketing materials (Fluency in Italian language a strong positive);
Following up on queries in relation to AML/KYC/UBO;
Providing guidance on compliance topics in relation to products and distribution;
Preparation of compliance reports to the different stakeholders (the Board in particular);
Assisting with the development of staff training and delivering the same;
Support the Chief Compliance Officer and the Compliance team as required in preparing reports and updates for the Board, the Central Bank of Ireland, the CSSF, senior management of the firm, the parent company/group and any other stakeholders;
Assist in the promotion of an appropriate compliance culture within the organisation;
Back up of other team members as appropriate.

Honours Bachelor degree/in progress;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Fluency in Italian is required;
Strong planning, problem solving skills;
Be enthusiastic and eager to learn, self-starter.
