Compression & Mastectomy Solutions (CMS) is a specialty DME provider who services patients in need of a variety of compression and / or mastectomy related medical supplies.
Job Description
The Compression Fitting Specialist (CFS) will be trained to fit patients for a variety of compression items and educate them on the proper use of their products. This specialist will meet patients in their home, at therapy appointments or at other healthcare provider offices in order to complete each fitting.
Items being fitting for will consist of custom compression garments and / or Pneumatic Compression Devices (lymphedema pumps) for patients with chronic swelling conditions.
The CFS will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with relevant healthcare providers as well as providing order status updates and retrieving signed orders or other documents necessary to fulfill orders to help ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant referral sources (lymphedema therapists and other healthcare providers who treat patients with chronic edema such as cardiologists, vascular surgeons, cancer healthcare providers, wound care centers etc.)
- Coordinate services and appointments with our home office to ensure proper delivery of services
- Serve as liaison between CMS and referring providers to obtain all necessary paperwork to ensure efficient delivery of services
- Participate in web, phone based or in-person education courses to ensure continued growth in professional knowledge and skills
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Required:
- Associates degree or higher
- 2+ years relevant healthcare experience: LPTA, COTA, RN, LN or equivalent

Hours & Travel Expectations
- Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00
- Travel up to 75-100 miles outside of Birmingham, AL; Territory to include Alabama cities in and around Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Gadsden, Cullman, Montgomery
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,400.00 per year
