Job Summary:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Test and diagnose Chromebooks and other computing devices.
- Identify common causes of trouble such as loose connections or defective components.
- Repair and replace defective or damaged components as necessary.
- Record time and components used for billing purposes.
- Assists supervisor with customer specific projects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Desired Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to analyze and diagnose problems and work independently to solve them.
- Experience with circuit boards and/or computer components.
- Component soldering.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Ability to differentiate wire and cable colors as well as various audible tones.
