As Concierge your role will be to ensure that our guests are 100% satisfied with their experience while in our hotel. It will be your responsibility to anticipate all guest needs and handle all guest inquiries. In order to do this, you will need to have complete and up to date knowledge of all local points of interest as well as the hotel products and services, including room types and rates, relative features and facilities, food and beverage outlets and promotions, spa and health club, and current promotions. You will ensure all issues pertaining to guest satisfaction are met and that all follow up is completed in a timely manner.

Furthermore, your role will entail:

• To ensure the hotel achieves the Leading Hotels of the World Quality Assurance targets and that the highest standards of luxury and quality are delivered consistently to our guests;
• To have an understanding of the Hotel’s Vision & Mission statement as communicated to the team;
• To ensure that areas of responsibility are clean and well maintained and cleaning checklists are adhered to;
• To be vigilant throughout the Hotel to promote health & safety;
• To have strong product knowledge of all areas of the hotel;
• To accept a flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests and to maintain flexibility within teams;
• To comply with the hotel's cash handling procedure;
• Specific duties are in line with Standard Operational Procedures issued on commencement of employment. Assigned duties will involve SOPs from both the Guest Relations and Guest Services;
• To work with the hotel’s designated suppliers in line with, by the hotel agreed SOP’s and procedures;
• To attend appraisal reviews when requested by the Head of Department;
• To understand and comply with the hotel’s employee handbook;
• To attend departmental daily briefings;
• To attend monthly departmental meetings/ General Team Meetings, etc. when required;
• To adhere to the hotel’s grooming procedures;
• To clock in and out of the Timepoint at the start and finish of each shift and for breaks.

• 
  Vocational School in Hotel Management preferred
• Passionate about the hospitality industry
• Positive learning attitude
• Good personal hygiene and well groomed
• Good communication skills
• Good level of English both verbal and written. Knowledge of local and foreign languages is an advantage.
