JOB DESCRIPTION:
Vantage Systems is seeking a Senior Configuration Manager for the Software Engineering Services III (SES III) Contract which supports the Software Engineering Division at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center, in providing quality software products, services and expertise to ensure the success of NASA missions and stakeholders. This position is to support the program with the configuration of our Enterprise Business Information System (eBIS). This position also supports the program as a junior Group Lead backup to support the program office in the management of tasks as a backup to our operations Group Leads.
The Senior Configuration Manager will work alongside the Business Manager and Group Leads in managing the eBIS program, plan tasks, respond to Government task requests, and support the training of the subcontractors on task planning and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the Business Manager and Group Leads to ensure excellent task planning on the SES III program.
- Support the Group Leads in the development of task plans and revisions in eBIS.
- Manage staff information in eBIS and update as staffing changes.
- Support subcontractors in the development of task plans and revisions.
- Develop and support training materials on management of tasks.
- Support the monthly invoicing, reporting, and variance monitoring.
- Support the procurement process.
- Support the documentation of system requirements for eBIS.
REQUIREMENTS
Understanding of eBIS or similar business and task order systems- Strong oral and written communication skills
- 4+ years experience in procurements
- Experience managing procurement documentation
- Experience in NASA or similar flight Center support services
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple, concurrent, and complex tasks/projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center missions and projects
- Understanding of procurements
- Strong IT systems experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- BA/BS or equivalent experience and 7+ years of prior relevant experience
