Job description
We are seeking General Construction people. We have Full-Time positions available near Destin. Most workers will be reporting to the job sites directly. The shifts will be 7 am-5 pm with overtime allowed at $16-$20/hr. based on experience. The company also pays a total of two hours of drive time daily.
Duties:
- Cleaning and prepping construction sites.
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Building and taking down scaffolding and temporary structures.
- Digging trenches, compacting earth, and backfilling holes.
- Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
- Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties.
- Operate heavy machinery such as Bulldozers, Excavators, Loaders, etc.
Qualifications:
- Must know the use of hand tools, power tools, and general construction is recommended.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience working with concrete and operating heavy machinery.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be dependable and show up for work.
- Must be physically fit with no limitations to bending, stooping, or lifting 50 lbs or more.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
