Duties and responsibilities

• Choose the types of tools to use in construction and track the inventory of those tools.
• Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
• Keep daily employee logs and monitor the conduct of each one of them.
• Interview and select subcontrators, negotiate the bids and make sure covers work of scope.
• Coordinate with the subcontractor for work progress.
• Ensure the project material delivery and safety.
• Conduct city inspection.
• Ensure that the construction project complies with all safety and building regulations.
• Conduct an in-depth analysis of the project to come up with the budget and deliverables.
• Establish risk factors, then manage and mitigate them to ensure the construction goes on smoothly.
• Work closely with architects and engineers to establish the requirements for the construction.
• Liaise with local authorities to obtain licenses and permits for the project.
• Prepare reports on the project.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of previous experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years of both commercial construction and management experience
• Associate's degree in construction or equivalent
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
• Understanding of construction equipment including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues
• Understanding of local, state and federal construction regulations
• Able to read and comprehend floor plans, equipment manuals, schematics and complex instructions
• Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project)
• Knowledge of construction budgeting best practices
• Must be able to work in normal office conditions, construction, and field environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal and supervisory skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $112,929.00 - $124,025.00 per year
