Western Chutes, Compactors and Recycling Systems, a division of Buchanan Company, is looking for an enthusiastic Construction Sales Coordinator to join our team at our corporate office in Huntington Beach, CA. As a Construction Sales Coordinator, you will coordinate day to day activity for new business prospects, track quote activity in our CRM, and maintain front line communication with customers. You will share in the mutual desire to acquire, activate and service new and existing clients and grow our 40+ years of expertise. Our projects are chute & compactor systems in multi-story high-density residential and commercial projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow in their Sales career and be a part of a collaborative environment!

Works Monday through Friday with occasional overtime and paid on a weekly basis. Benefits include medical, dental and vision, life insurance, vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays. Advancement opportunities.

Pay Range: $25.00- $28.00/hr.

Primary Duties:

  • Develop and review proposal documents with prospects.
  • Utilize our real time Customer Relationship Management system to manage project opportunities, maintain status, and measure results.
  • Communicate with customers and internal staff to clarify information and requirements, and influence customer decisions.
  • Build and maintain a strong working relationship with Sales and Estimating department teammates and other staff members.

To be successful in this role you need:

· The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm.

· The ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and prioritize work daily.

· Be highly organized.

· Prior experience working in the construction industry highly desirable.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years Inside Sales, Customer Service or Quoting experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications.
  • High attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to meet timelines, manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
  • Prior experience using BlueBeam and Fishbowl a plus.
  • Strong, clear, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Desire to learn.
