We’re currently seeking a Superintendent for Construction Management work on public sector projects within NYC.

Candidates general responsibilities include:

• Oversee work in field to ensure compliance with project documents as well as ensure work stays on schedule and budget.
• Maintain communication with management, client, designers and other project stakeholders
• Written daily reports and photos of job activities
• Perform pre-construction inspection to determine site status and relay information/direction on state of the issue for designer/client recommendation/concurrence
• Perform project design document constructability reviews
• Coordinate/ Schedule project site activities
• Manage submittal, RFI, and change orders
• Coordinate contractor with Pre and Post construction

Ideal applicants will have:

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience required, or comparable combination of experience and education,
• Experience supervising or managing several construction projects simultaneously from pre-construction through close out, working with agency representatives, A/E and contractors.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills along with experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is necessary.
• Ability to understand and interpret contract documents such as specifications, drawings and shop drawings
• Experience working in new and renovation type construction

OSHA Site Safety Training certificates are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
