STRUCTURAL is currently looking for a Construction Warehouse Coordinator to be based in our Chelmsford, MA office. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be accountable for organizing and maintaining the construction equipment within the branch warehouse.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinating the acceptance, storage, and deliveries of materials and equipment in conjunction with the field managers and suppliers.
- Keeping a log of all equipment in the warehouse and in the field.
- Tracking goods while they are en route to their destinations, expediting orders when necessary.
- Purchasing materials, supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Participating in project pre-planning and task-planning
- Collaborating with field managers and project teams to meet the ever-changing needs of the field.
- Assisting with shipping and routing of materials and equipment
- Monitoring the condition and maintenance of shop, tools and equipment to ensure safe working conditions.
- Providing employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of safety procedures.
- Keeping warehouse safe, clean, and organized at all times.
- Assisting mechanic to make sure all equipment is job ready when it leaves shop. Ensures returning equipment is properly tagged, stored, and serviced for future use.
Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position:
- 3+ years' experience in a construction warehouse setting
- Either has or is able to obtain DOT
- Previous experience operating a forklift
- Proven ability to lift 60lbs or more
- Ability to partner with company Resource Managers to build a mutually respectful relationship with field management and project teams
- Travel requirement up to 30% for delivery to job sites
May require flexible work shifts and/or overtime to provide warehouse availability.
Qualified candidates can earn up to $30 per hour (based on experience) in addition to health and dental insurance, 401(k), paid vacation and more!
