We are looking to hire a talented Contract Processing Manager to join our growing team within the Customer Contract and Relationship Management department. The Contract Processing team ensures accurate recognition of customer contract billing information and accurately produces invoicing monthly. This position will manage the activities of staff responsible for contract entry for variable/transactional invoicing.
This position will manage several staff in areas of system processing mainly, as well as technical accounting and audit compliance. The position will be demanding and requires a strong ability to build relationships along with a continuous improvement mindset. Ideal candidates have a strong accounting operations background with management experience. This role will be a Hybrid Work Schedule (2 days working in the office and 3 days working from home).
This position can be based to work out of any of the following Jack Henry office locations: Springfield, MO or Monett, MO.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.
- Ensures integration of data produced into systems.
- Participates in annual audits and special projects.
- Ensures area of responsibility is in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in accounts receivable or contract billing/contract entry within an Accounting or Finance team/business unit.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience with direct reports.
What would be nice for you to have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- MBA and/or CPA or other related professional certification desired.
- Prior experience in a Financial or Technology Services organization.
- Effectively plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Possess strong business acumen and desire to strengthen knowledge of the business/industry
- Ability to make recommendations in order to improve efficiency of processes and procedures.
- Ability to bring creativity, “Think outside of the box” attitude to the position while at the same time providing consistent, accurate financial analysis.
