Position Description:
The Contracts Administrator will report to the Senior Contracts Manager and will facilitate the planning and execution of a diverse $2B research and development project portfolio in the aviation systems, infrastructure, energy and environmental technology, communications and information technology domains. Serves as a key member of the contracts team in direct support of company goals and objectives. The Contracts Administrator will work closely with CMG’s project management and finance teams, Government contracting offices and consortium member companies and institutions to ensure successful project outcomes. Duties require exercising discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance to the business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the acquisition life cycle, from solicitation to close-out, for assigned contracts, subcontracts and Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) between the Government, CMG and members of CMG-led consortia.
- Facilitate teaming among consortium members and collaboration between government, industry and academia.
- Assist consortium members with understanding contract requirements, development of project plans and milestone payment schedules and with negotiations of Intellectual Property and data rights.
- Perform compliance reviews for consortium member white papers, proposals and deliverables to ensure that they meet the requirements of the Government’s solicitation, terms and conditions of the relevant OTA and applicable acquisition statutes.
- Provide post-award contracts administration, including invoicing support, facilitating contract modifications and working closely with Government program managers to resolve any funding issues that may arise.
- Facilitate seamless transition and award of follow-on production contracts or Other Transactions.
- Ensure the accurate and timely posting of required data within CMG’s integrated knowledge management platform for contracts management, deliverables tracking and project-status reporting to all stakeholders.
- Prepare programmatic and contract reports, as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Acquisition and Contract Management, Legal Studies or related discipline is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience administering Government or commercial research, development and/or production contracts, subcontracts or OTAs is required
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) and/or Other Transaction Authority is desired.
- Exceptional communication, organizational and project management abilities.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- An active Top Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
