Sony Pictures Entertainment approaches Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) holistically by focusing efforts on our workforce, workplace, and our marketplace. The Diversity & Inclusion Team, a part of People & Organization, analyzes workforce dynamics, executes initiatives aimed at building a more inclusive workplace culture, connects with media affinity groups with regard to increasing representation on both sides of the camera, and identifies opportunities for inclusion as they touch the businesses of film and television. The Coordinator for the Diversity and Inclusion team assists with support across the entire team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides comprehensive administrative support for the Office of Diversity & Inclusion
  • Responsible for maintaining the department’s research databases and assisting with reporting as needed
  • Provide event and logistics management support for all the studio’s corporate and creative pipeline programs
  • Assist with developing D&I related communications including presentation decks, event flyers, and other reference materials
  • Provide event and programming support for the Studio’s 21 Global Employee Business Resource Groups (EBRG)
  • Maintain the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and Sony Pictures Action mailbox
  • Provides backup administrative support to the Chief Diversity Officer as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in a role with high responsibility and many stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Word / Excel / PowerPoint / and working knowledge of Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively handle/manage highly confidential information
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to use independent judgment in prioritizing tasks while experiencing frequent interruptions
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with dates, times, names, & context – quick comprehension of issues
  • Excellent professionalism and tenacious problem-solving ability
  • Curious and interested in learning the emerging, evolving DE&I landscape

The anticipated base salary for this position is $58,000.00 to $61,000.00. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
