Content Creator/Writer for Aera Home Fragrance

We are a Seattle-based home fragrance brand who believes happy noses make happy humans. Clean, safe and sustainable scent is our jam. We are a small team with big ideas! Come play fragrance with us.

Your Role

We are looking for a content creative/writer to help bring the Aera brand to life through fresh, creative content that engages our customers, builds community and demonstrates our core brand values.

Responsibilities

• To create on-brand deliverables
• Collaborate with marketing team to ideate winning content strategies
• Concept and execute creative briefs for social, web, email, and app content
• Be constantly looking for ways to use social, web, app, email to help marketing meet revenue and engagement goals
• Concept, write and produce organic IG/TikTok content
• Write blog posts
• Own Aera content POV along with content designer
• Assist occasionally with marketing and fragrance launch copy

You

• Are creative AND strategic
• Have superb collaboration and communication skills
• Have a passion for brand and brand voice
• Have a love/hate relationship with TikTok
• Know about things like oxford commas, but are not a jerk about it
• Have a strong work ethic with a high degree of integrity regarding accuracy, creativity, and follow-through
• Can manage numerous projects and prioritize goals, execute on deliverables, and keep team members informed
• Are excited to build and uphold content style guidelines
• Are a natural writer, editor, and proofreader
• Can takedown complicated concepts into simple, succinct messages
• Know how to concept with a partner
• Enjoy problem solving
• Are creatively driven

Requirements

2-5 years’ experience working in marketing/advertising copywriting role preferred

A portfolio/website

Bonus

• Ecommerce experience
• You like fragrance!
• You have a talented designer or art director you like working with

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
