The Corporate SATCOM Specialist for SATCOM Programs will support the Engineering & Integration LOB. Will develop and execute the company’s business strategies in conjunction with the line of business leaders, general managers and department heads. Position can be remote but requires up to 50% travel.
Responsibilities:
- E&I LOB
- Serves in various roles, such as, Subject Matter Expert, Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager, as required, for Space programs, specifically, Wideband and Narrowband SATCOM.
- Serves as technical lead supporting all international SATCOM efforts associated with Space programs on an as needed basis
- On an as needed basis, provides Army programs and operational expertise across the company.
- Provides project oversight
- Determine customer needs, technical direction and strategy
- Allocate and sets goals for the team/project that are consistent with company business strategy
- Solves complex problems and provides analysis, results and a clear action plan
- Provides technical and administrative direction and clear expectations to the program/customer team
- Defines and drives execution of project goals, processes, milestones, priorities and sets up clear measurements and expectations

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- 20+ years of experience of demonstrated SATCOM systems leadership with Joint and Combined Space systems with deep understand of all Services and Agencies uses
- Subject Matter Expertise in Narrowband Satellite Communications required, and must specifically include ground/network segments, cybersecurity as well as the space segment
- Subject Matter Expertise with the Mobile User Objective System, and specifically, the design and implementation of Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA), Integrated Waveform (IW), and Demand-Assigned Multiple Access technologies
- DoD Acquisition experience
- Space requirements development and implementation required
- Experience with Space programs and operations Agreements with Allied partners required
- Industry Business Development skills preferred

Years of Experience: Minimum 20+ years in SATCOM systems operations and/or development.
Education: BA/BS in business or a related technical discipline required, or a Master’s degree in systems, space, or communications technology. preferred.
