This position conducts diagnostic Computer Voice Stress Analysis (CVSA) examinations working with the Sex Offender Treatment Program.
There is a primary position open along with a backup to the primary person. You will prepare for examinations by conducting pre-exam interviews with incarcerated individuals, reviewing their files, consulting with case managers and other staff and working with outside agencies for access to necessary information. Prepare written reports following the examination with the finding of the test. Complete case management services for incarcerated individuals. Involvement in primary classifications, pre-parole classifications scheduling and attending program reviews, custody classifications, SVP and other assessments. Also court progress reports, funeral trips and transfers. Will required the individuals hired to obtain certification though Iowa Board for Treatment of Sex Abusers.
Will also 10% of the time will provide primary sex offender treatment. Includes facilitating groups, maintaining accurate ICON entries, entry of session notes and participating in program reviews. Works towards/obtain sex offender treatment provider certification thought Iowa Board for the for treatment of Sexual Abusers. This position is Monday thru Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday thru Friday
Experience equal to four years of full-time work providing individual and group guidance and related counseling services in the areas of social, behavioral, educational, vocational and related program planning;
