Creative Director

Our company is looking for a senior-level designer and merchandiser to be part of the team. We sell licensed hair accessories, jewelry, and other accessories. Our product is sold to all retailers in the US and abroad. We are looking to expand our design team as our business grows!

Among the responsibilities:

• Keep up with emerging trends
• For existing brands and areas of expansion, develop products and packaging from conception to completion.
• Prepare item line sheets and customer presentations.
• Prepare artwork for production and review samples for accuracy.
• Communicate with factories overseas.
• Monitor projects through all stages to ensure creative excellence and the highest quality product.
• Lead by example, mentor, and guide less experienced designers.
• Bring new innovation to the market by finding white space.
• Stay current on our licensed brands and market trends to help develop products.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years experience in licensed consumer products - hair accessories and jewelry
• Exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop and Illustrator
• Resourceful self-starter who knows how to get things done independently and collaboratively
• Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and manage multiple projects
• Ability to prioritize work without missing critical deadlines
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines while paying attention to details

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $165,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
