VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley (VSV) is an AAHA-accredited, 24-hour emergency/multi-specialty practice in Woodland Hills, California. VCA VSV is located in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles County, one of the most culturally diverse areas of the world. We are close to beaches, mountains, hiking trails, museums and more.

Currently seeking applicants for a licensed veterinary technician for our Surgery Department
Compensation : $ 25-31 dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule and additional responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.
The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:
- venipuncture
- catheter placement
- radiology
- anesthesia monitoring
- physical examinations and patient assessment
- surgical preparation and assisting
- laboratory work
- pharmacy
- patient recovery
- compassionate care for our hospitalized patients
- available to work weekends and holidays
- available to work on call shifts
This is a full-time position that utilizes four 10-hour shifts per week, and pay rates are determined by experience level and credentials. Available schedules do include working weekend and holiday shifts.
