Overland Park!

Our Overland Park location opened for business in November 2022 as a result of the business growth experienced by the Bank in the Kansas City area. The branch is led by Market President John Geiger, who has more than 30 years of commercial banking experience in the Greater Kansas City market.

Silver Lake Bank maintains an approx. $325 million loan portfolio, consisting of consumer, commercial, and agricultural loans. The Bank’s lending niche is locally-owned small businesses within the communities we serve.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Work with the Overland Park team to grow the Bank’s commercial loan portfolio while adhering to high credit quality standards. Job responsibilities include analysis and written summary of financial information, report generation, industry research, and request and receipt of current and complete information from existing and potential customers. This position will serve an active role in the Bank’s loan portfolio through involvement in loan originations and decisions, customer meetings, fulfilling ongoing loan servicing needs, and serving as a voting member of Loan Committee. Follow established Bank policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Proven work experience as a Credit Analyst or similar role (2-3 years minimum preferred)
• Read and interpret financial statements, including sound understanding of book vs. tax income.
• Concisely summarize analytical findings in both verbal and written format
• Collateral perfection knowledge, including Security Agreements/UCC Filings and Mortgages
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Customer-centered attitude
• Highly organized, self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects efficiently and accurately.
• Desire to work in a goal-oriented environment with active participation and ownership.
