Crisis Specialist Job Description:
Under the direction of the Manager of Homeless Programs, the primary responsibilities of this position include the prevention of and/or intervention in crisis situations with clients at the Engagement Center or at the Commons at Chantry.
Crisis Specialist Requirements:
- Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree in human services or behavioral healthcare field or
- High school diploma with previous experience (lived or professional) in crisis and de-escalation, work mental health and substance abuse disorders housing and homelessness
- LPC, LSW, LPCC, or LISW preferred
- Workweek: full-time, second shift, 3 pm - 11 pm, Tuesday-Saturday
