AllPro Government is currently hiring in the Clarksburg area for experienced CRNAs with at least 1 year work experience as a CRNA, that can perform duties as assigned.in various clinical settings.

This assignment is a Government Contract and will need to follow Federal policies (i.e. – background and drug-screening).

Rate: $215 p/hr

License: Must be licensed and board certified

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm with On Call 4:30pm-7:30pm

Job Description:

• Provide on-call coverage.
• Provide limited overtime hours.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Admitting; History & Physicals .
• Performing preoperative anesthetic consultations.
• Performing periodic physical examinations.
• Providing and coordinating comprehensive care for assigned patients in the pcriopcrativc setting.
• Order appropriate laboratory tests.
• Request radiographic studies/nuclear medicine testing.
• Request and perform Electrocardiograms.
• Request Pulmonary Function Tests.
• Request Cardiac Stress Tests.
• Carrying out health promotion and disease prevention activities including education and shared decision-making.
• Drawing venous and arterial blood specimens for diagnostic purposes.
• Initiating and expediting requests for consultations.
• Documenting preoperative, Intraopcrativc and postoperative anesthesia notes in accordance with the Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
• Obtaining consent for and documenting procedures pcrfom1cd by the applicant.
• Advanced airway management.
• Providing education and counseling of patients and families in preventive care, medical conditions, and the use of prescribed treatments and drugs.
• Vital sign documentation on the Anesthesia Record.
• Insertion of peripheral IV lines.
• Administer IV medications relevant to anesthetic care.
• Delivery of monitored anesthesia care.
• Intraosscous access.
• Administration and monitoring of spinal anesthesia.
• Insertion and removal of arterial catheters.
• Performance of Bier’s blocks.
• Provide care to ASA category I and 2 patients.
• Provide care to ASA category 3-5 patients.
• Provide general Anesthesia for the category of patients identi tied above.
• Writing orders and prescriptions as authorized by VA Directives, Federal and State law governing your licensure.
• Writing orders, and prescriptions for medications and controlled substances.
• Insertion of cricothvroid catheters, and emergent cricothyroidotomy.
