Position: Customer service representative

Location: Littleton MA, 1460

Duration: 3 months contract

Pay Rate: $23/hr.

Shifts: 8:30AM to 5:00pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (Inside Sales) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, responding to customer inquiries, negotiating sales and purchase prices, and promoting company products. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a background in sales and customer service.

Key Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and focus
• Previous industry and sales experience
• Moderate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of supply chain systems and industrial products (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED (required)

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and take customer orders
• Order and source products as needed
• Negotiate sale and purchase prices
• Proactively generate sales and promote company products
• Expedite backorders and resolve customer concerns
• Assist with inventory management and preparing shipments
• Interact with customers and suppliers to ensure orders are filled correctly
• Troubleshoot customer concerns and escalate issues as needed

Competencies:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $24.00 per hour
