Pride Health is looking for CT Scan Technologists for our client in Neptune, NJ
Job Details
- 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- 40hrs/week; 4x 10hr shift; every other weekend too
- Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (3 Months); possibility on an extension
Requirements/Experience
- Must have a minimum 1 year prior CT Scan Tech experience in major acute care hospital.
- AART Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Diagnostic Radiography License from the NJ DEP (department of environment protection)
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program
Some Duties
- Performs complex CT procedures.
- Uses professional judgment when reviewing and obtaining patient’s clinical history for procedures, ensuring information is documented and scanned into PACS.
- Prepares, screens and reviews the accuracy of the contrast questionnaire with patient and/or family member and scan into EPIC.
- Identifies and/or administers contrast media related to CT exams as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
- Reviews the patient prescription to verify appropriateness of exam and if incorrect, communicates with the Radiologist and Referring Physician to obtain additional clinical information or a new prescription.
