Requirements:
- Graduated from an accredited radiology program or college/university (required)
- ARRT Certification (required)
- ARRT CT (Computed Tomography) Certification (required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
***The CT Technologist may be part of the on call pool***
***The CT Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off site diagnostic locations***
Responsibilities:
- Performs radiologic procedures
- Assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail
- Responsible for special procedures, angiographic procedures, CT scans and related quality control monitoring as assigned
- Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Ensures a high quality of images produced
- Responsible for availability and sterility of equipment and supplies used for assigned areas
- Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines
- Participate in stocking and restocking medical supplies
