Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of the Fast Track Host is to ensure the services runs smoothly and customer expectations are met.

• Customer service and queue management for Fast Track landside
• Greeting passengers as they enter Fast Track queue and welcoming them to Fast Track
• Access control - checking validity of tickets for all passengers
• Queue management – redirecting passengers to Central Search as needed
• Communicate with security duty manage on queue times / queue length to ensure adequate security lanes are provided airside
• Provide customers with Fast Track, security and airport information as required
• Distribute vouchers and reassuring customers if the queue exceeds 10minutes
• Handling customer complaints in the ground in a calm and professional manner
• Queue management for Fast Track airside
• As needed, manage the queues at the Fast Track lanes by directing passengers to the dedicated Fast Track bays
• Sales
• Upsell lounge tickets to passengers waiting in the queue
• Direct passengers to Fast Track on Demand machines to purchase tickets
• Innovation and improvements
• Identify key areas for improvement of the Fast Track product and support with implementation
• Reporting
• Meet regularly with DATS Manager to discuss product performance

Desired skills and experience

• Experience in a customer services role dealing directly with customers / general public
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and helpful approach to passengers
• Experience in working in a fast-paced environment and dealing with a high volume of customers
• Experience in handling difficult situations in a calm and professional manner
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Availability and flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns that include weekends, bank holidays and early morning starts (e.g. 04.00)
• Full training will be provided
