Position Overview (on-site)
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be a part of a small financial services team (not a call center) helping clients with their policies such as servicing their accounts (e.g., auto, home, motorcycle etc.) The customer interaction will be predominantly by phone. Having a friendly, helpful, professional demeanor is key. .

In this role you will be an employee of our partner agent that is not an employee of Plymouth Rock Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely assistance to customer’s inquiries regarding their policy inquiries
• Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Answer incoming calls, strive for a first call resolution providing the best service possible
• Must have a sense of urgency when dealing with client issues
• Develop and maintain insurance product knowledge skills
• Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each day.

Requirements

• NJ Property & Casualty License Preferred
• Must have Auto & Home Insurance related experience
• Ability to follow-through to resolution with good time management skills
• Develops and maintains product, procedural knowledge
• Computer proficiency that includes data entry
• Ability to work a part-time day schedule Monday to Friday 9am-2pm or 10am-3pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday

• Clark, NJ 07066: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Property & Casualty Insurance Customer Service: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Property & Casualty License (Preferred)
