Customer Care Specialist

Job Summary:

The Customer Care Specialist (Brick and Mortar) will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries, answering questions, and resolving complaints. Assist in the loan process and conduct customer solicitation.

• None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
• Collects and enters customers information for loan applications, account inquires and payment processing.
• Fields customer questions and concerns; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the appropriate staff.
• Conduct calls to current, past, and prospective customers to ensure contact information is up-to-date and to offer additional lending options.
• Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers inquires.
• Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, and/or comments.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills including active listening.
• Exceptional sales ability.
• Ability to resolve customer objections.
• Service-oriented and able to resolve customer concerns.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience required.
• Consumer finance experience a plus.
• Military knowledge a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
