School Success Manager
The School Success Manager is the backbone of impact with art educators and school district partners. We are looking for an individual who has a passion to inspire and equip art education leaders on their journey to build and sustain a curriculum and professional development framework. As a School Success Manager, you will work with new and existing customers to build a long-term partnership, create and act upon a plan for success, own the contract renewal process from start to finish, and look for opportunities to expand relationships as needs evolve.
AOEU is a revolutionary institution that was created to support art teachers no matter what level of expertise they have and the depth of learning they need. How do we do it? Through our fully online university, standards-aligned curriculum platform, and various professional development modals - weekly magazine, conferences, personalized learning platform, courses, and social media content.

The Details
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Onboarding & Adoption
Trusted Advisor
Consulting synchronously and asynchronous with district leaders to identify clear outcomes that they wish to see with product adoption.
Document and lead a plan towards success with short and long-term goals
Tactical Management
Use internal systems to help teacher groups successfully access and implement our products
Coordinate and conduct product training plans
Collaborating with Customer Support to manage individual teacher needs
Touchpoints & Retention
Risk Management
Use data to Identify usage trends or technical blockers and recommend pivots to improve adoption
Provide reactive support to administrators and teacher leaders
Customer Journey
Implement AOEU’s District Journey to ensure each account achieves the very best outcome at each milestone
Revenue & Expansion
Work with accounts to secure funding for annual, multi-year, or adoption purchasing cycles
Leverage success and evolving district needs to support the expansion to more users and cross-sell additional product solutions.
Advocacy
Be the “Customer Voice” internally to ensure AOEU continues to develop products that best reflect the evolving needs of our customers.
Be the advocate to our customers- whether it’s funding or building out success plans for professional development, School Success is privileged to spread the good news of the power of art education for every student and every school.

Daily collaboration with sales, support, success, product, marketing, and finance teams to support all stages o the customer journey.
Detail
Tech Savvy - the ability to quickly learn and teach on new technology platforms, use spreadsheets, and CRM systems,
Manage and support a book of 100-300 accounts (depending on size)
Knowledge of education funding sources, grants, and complex purchasing processes such as RFP’s and board approvals.
Self-driven work ethic and ability to work successfully in a remote/from-home work environment.
Ability to travel 1-3 times per quarter for customer meetings and bi-annual company meetings
Position Requirements

EXPERIENCE
Customer Success/Account Management background strongly preferred
K-12 background/experience strongly preferred.
Using Hubspot (or similar CRM), Google Apps, Slack is preferred.
Working from home preferred.
Traveling to work with clients preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Ability to view computer screens for significant periods of time. The Art of Education University is an online university therefore 95-98% of one’s time will be on or using technology.
Ability to use a laptop keyboard with accuracy.
Ability to hear at normal levels and through electronic devices such as laptops, earbuds, phones, and the like.

The Process
For most roles, the process is as follows:
Step 1: ~30 minute phone interview with hiring manager
Step 2: Round 2 packet & Interview
Given that this role works remotely, we want to see how you would work through some of the daily tasks, responsibilities, and challenges you might come across through a day-in-the-life. You will be given a prompt and be asked to complete an assignment which will then be used to guide a ~1 hour follow-up Zoom interview with 1-2 stakeholders. The intention is for you to get a sense of the role and give us an opportunity to see your skills in action. Your answers will not be used for any other purposes beyond evaluating your candidacy for this role, as it's important for both of us to get a glimpse of how you would handle a day in the life of this role.
Step 3: Follow-up interview
For certain managerial or high-collaboration roles, you may be asked to participate in a final Zoom interview.
