Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Cyber Software Engineer II - Knowledge Manager/SharePoint Developer for a position in Fairfax, VA.

Responsibilities

Front-end SharePoint designer/developer with comprehensive knowledge to create custom SharePoint/web pages including automated workflows.

Tasks include but are not limited to the following:

• Update and maintain the cybersecurity division knowledge web page on NIPR
• Develop a JWICS division page based on specific requirements
• Develop a SW/HW APL SharePoint workflow and design APL homepage
• Translate manual processes and recommend automated workflows to improve effectiveness and efficiency across the division
• Provide direct support for optimizing the use of SharePoint and other collaborative tools within the organization.
• Collaborate with DoD staff personnel to elicit and document website requirements to design new functionality within SharePoint sites.

Work location: Fairfax, VA and/or Metro Park

Hours: HQ INSCOM core hours are 0900 – 1500. HQ INSCOM personnel and Contractor personnel are expected to work an 8-hour workday and a 40-hour workweek. Prior to working outside of normal hours of operation, coordination must be made with the Government team lead and the INSCOM COR for approval.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Clearance Required: TS/SCI (Poly Preferred)
• Requires appropriate DoD 8570.01 baseline certification prior to beginning work.
• Requires DoD 8570 IAT Level II qualifying certification.
• Education/Experience: BS with 10-12 years experience, MS with 8-10 years experience, PhD with 5-7 years experience. Will consider: HS with 11-14 years, BA/BS with 5-10 years, or MA/MS with 3-6 years.
• At least 2 years of experience with SharePoint
• Advanced understanding of programming languages and collaboration software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft products (SharePoint, Windows Server, SQL Server) and Programming languages (C#.NET, ASP.NET, Visual Basic .NET)
• Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of web-based applications.
• Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture.
• Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed Metadata, and User Profile Services.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Integration Services.

Prefer:

• Knowledge and experience with virtualization
• Knowledge of Active Directory
• Microsoft MCPD 70-576, SharePoint 2010/2013 Designing and Developing Applications certification.
• Ability to write Stored Procedures, write complex SQL queries, and ability to analyze the SQL data.
