Job Description

Instructor will teach courses in subject matter pertaining to Dance and or Dance Appreciation.Teaching includes, but is not limited to, the following:

1. Teaching assignments will be courses that are listed within the Dance Program that will count either towards an Certificate of Achievement in Dance or General Education requirements.

2. Assigned courses, days, times and/or locations may vary from semester to semester.

3. Assignments may be any combination of classroom and online modes.

4. Assignments may be located on any combination of CSN's several campuses.

5. Assignments may be any combination of morning, afternoon and evening hours.

6. Assignments may be any combination of any days of the week including weekends.

7. Assignments may be any combination of courses for which the instructor is qualified.

Required Qualifications

1. Master's degree or equivalent life experiences (professional Dance positions) from a regionally accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications

One year experience teaching preferred but not required.
