Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is looking for a Data Integrity Analyst to join our HIM team!The Data Integrity Analyst will perform specialized/advanced health information activities necessary to organize, maintain and use electronic and paper patient health records. Positions at this level have high customer service, strong analytic, problem solving skills and are able to interpret and explain policy and external requirements related to chart documentation, privacy and release of information. Specific job responsibilities will be based on assigned area of responsibility to include: Privacy, Data Integrity, eCorrections, Release of Information, and MPI maintenance (e.g duplicate medical record numbers, medical record number overlays). Expert computer skills to navigate and query multiple electronic record systems and associated software is necessary.
*This position is primarily remote, but candidates must be local to Newtown Square, PA.*
- Monitors and reviews MPI duplicate reports to ensure timely processing and corrections.
- Responds to reports of duplicate or overlay MPI issues.
- Reviews records as scheduled or on an ad hoc basis to establish completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of electronic health record documentation
- Maintains accurate database of audit findings.
- As assigned, monitors access logs to determine potential improper or irregular viewing, printing, or copying of patient health information.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate degree (preferred)
- RHIT, CCS, or RHIA (preferred)
- Experience working with EMR (preferred)
