Data Integrity Manager

Job Purpose
The Data Integrity Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, completeness, and reliability of our company's data. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues and develop solutions to resolve them. This individuals’ passion for data integrity will help spearhead the company’s Data Governance Program.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable data across the organization.
- Monitor data quality on an ongoing basis and identify and resolve data quality issues as they arise.
- Analyze and validate data to ensure its accuracy and consistency, and develop automated data validation and cleansing processes.
- Develop and work with data engineers to maintain data glossaries, data lineage, and other metadata to track and maintain the integrity of the data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify data quality issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, trends, and regulations related to data management and governance.
- Proven experience in Data Management, and ability to successfully influence cross functional partners, and work across a variety of disparate systems and data
- Builds and implements systems to avoid inconsistent data silos in different departments and business units
- Identifies and fixes errors in data sets, improving data quality for teams
- Communicate and uphold data quality guidelines and requirement, as well as serves as an internal resource on issues related to data or processes
- Collaborates and implements policies that that help prevent data errors and misuse
- Works with Crumbl legal team to ensure compliance with data privacy laws and other regulations in North America and overseas.
- Helps enforce the company’s data definitions, promoting a shared understanding of data
- Supports Data Analyst team by increasing analytics accuracy and give decision-makers reliable information
- Collaborates with Data Engineering to organize and confirm integrity of internal data,
- Works with functional teams to ensure external data validity:
- For unique cases – collaborates with functional data analyst (ex: Marketing)
- For ongoing cases – manages an ongoing relationship with dedicated department managers (ex: Finance Store Accounting team and Supply Chain Demand Planning team)
- Leads the Data Governance Program, collaborating with subject matter leaders, to ensure that data integrity regulations and expectations are effectively incorporated into operations and decisions

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in data integrity: or a combination of highly relevant technical experience preferred
- 3+ years advanced knowledge of SQL scripting and working with relational database systems. Experience with various coding languages and systems is a plus.
- 3+ years of data engineering, specifically the ins-and outs of building and testing data pipelines.
- Knowledge and experience with DBT is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with Snowflake is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with Prefect is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with AWS is preferred
- Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation tools.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA is a plus
- Very detail-oriented with the ability to think of cross-team implications for changes
- Hands-on experience in the production and consumption of relevant data
- Excellent computer skills, especially with Microsoft 365 applications: advanced Excel skills and well versed in technology & data principles
- Ability to influence at many levels with nuanced communication skills. This position will interact with and communicate with a range of users, stakeholders and management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required along with the ability to build and maintain strong internal partnerships
- Able to identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Experience completing a previous data migration project for new systems implementation
- Flexible/adaptable mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
Working Conditions
Working environment is generally an office setting, utilizing a laptop and cell phone. This position is in-house at the Lindon, UT headquarters location.
