Job Description:
The Data Modeling team has grown from a team developing a conceptual and logical data model to a team tasked with creating physical models, APIs, and transformations, supporting implementations of the data model, employing open source ontology software. The data modeling team seeks a person with an understanding of ontology and data modeling, programming experience to create APIs, and transforms, and help advise upstream data conditioners and data lake owners.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop new and modify existing data models to support data engineering activities
- Understand data from multiple datasets in their source format
- Communicate with technical and business stakeholders of data and data handling
- Conduct business process analysis and requirements gathering to develop formal data structures
- Research and evaluate technical aspects of systems with respect to data handling and analysis capabilities and constraints
- Research and evaluate the user experience and methods employed by users of various IT systems
Here's what you need:
- 3 years of experience with data analysis and/or intelligence analysis
- Experience extracting data and writing reports
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with diagramming and visualization tools
- Experience with structured and unstructured data storage and retrieval
- Experience with data engineering / ETL
- Experience with APIs
- Experience with Python and Java
- Understanding of data pipeline design and processes
Security Clearance:
- An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required to start
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $90,700 - $168,400
Colorado: $90,700 - $145,500
New York City: $105,000 - $168,400
Washington: $96,600 - $154,900
