The YMCA Early Learning Community (Chippewa YMCA) is looking to hire a full time assistant teacher! Hours will be between 7am and 6pm. Hours and days working can be flexible. No weekends!

All staff receive a free YMCA membership, program discounts, 50% off childcare, and early enrollment for lessons/programs. Our full time staff are eligible for full benefits including employer paid Life and Disability insurance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Provide quality, safe and fun programming through daily activities

-Charting behaviors and activities throughout the day

-Create relationships with children

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Willing to participate in furthering childcare education courses paid for by the YMCA

-Previous childcare/ licensed daycare work experience

-Positive attitude, good communication skills, team player & professional

-Enjoy being around kids, reliable and adaptable

-CPR/First Aid Certification within 6 months of employment (covered by the YMCA upon hire).

Pay is $12-$15/hr
